Caring for all patients, especially the elderly, who often suffer from long-term illness, requires constant care and monitoring, increasing pressure on both public and private healthcare systems. Older people now make up a high percentage of hospital admissions in developed countries.

However, the increasing pressure on all family members to work, with increasing pressure from time, money, and additional obligations, threatens the ability of families to support their loved ones. 

Home care services have been identified as a key method of dealing with this problem. From a healthcare organization's perspective, providing more home care services reduces pressure on public facilities and staff, helps increase the number of positive outcomes for patients.
